Are you kidding me? Why have I had a paintbrush in my hand for the last week and a half? It was only a few short days ago, that my friends and I were musing about the need for clean, simple designs for children's rooms. I should have known that they already existed. Apple Pie Design is kicking the vinyl decals with style. They've even got designs for the adult rooms.

NASA has just released a video that should be filed under "Rad". The images show a solar eclipse from NASA's Stereo-B Spacecraft. The video is remarkably clear, colorful and... well, rad. The site explains a bit more.

It's hard to imagine how mesmerizing the work of Theo Jansen truly is. The only description I could come up with was "organic engineering". I'm sure that term represents other things as well, but it gets at the heart of Mr. Jansen's work. The photo gallery and movies are remarkable.

TED is a ridiculously amazing conference, stared in 1984, and held each year in Monterey, CA. It is dedicated to the melding of ideas from the brightest minds in Technology, Entertainment and Design. When not discussing how to save the world, they've kindly offered us access to lectures, so that we can save it ourselves. J.J. Abrams (above) was one of the speakers this year.
